The ‘Wide Ribbed Porcelain Vase, Pollen’ (by OUI).
This vase caught my eye at the local Indigo outlet. Besides being a favorite color of mine (and a trendy color as well, of course), it has the brilliance of reminding the viewer of both a comfy knit sweater and an oversized cup of coffee.
The ribbed lip of this vase makes me think of an worn-and-stretched sweater sleeve cuff, the kind you cozy up with and wrap around a hot mug as you sip and read on the couch.
Both of these clever design inspirations end up enticing the viewer and making you want to heft, hold, and bring this vase home to put it in your living room.
Or is that just me?
